GBS HISTORY DETAILS
In 1999, our first company -- ShenZhen Western Hemisphere Technology Co.,Ltd was established. It mainly specializes in High Temperature Tape, Thermal Conductive Tape and Insulation Tape series to provide adhesive solutions for Electronic industry, LED lighting and automotive industry. We adopted ISO9001and ISO140001 International Standards in our quality management system and environment management system to lay the quality standard for future development.
In 2006, at the advantage of the west coast of the straits economic zone development opportunities, we established Xiamen GBS Optronics Co., Ltd in Xiamen. GBS invested 1000 class clean rooms with advanced equipment like Rewinding&Slitting machine, Sheeting machine, Lamination machine and flat-bed die cutting machine. We developed more new materials like ultra thin PET tape, PET optical grade protective Film, flame retardant material, etc,. to serve Optronics industry, LED Lighting, Automotive and other electronics manufacturing.
In 2015, GBS invested a new factory in Jiangsu -- Yancheng Shanzhi Optical Materials Co.,Ltd. We started to research protective materials in OLED, LCD industry, and set up 6 PET coating lines to manufacture protective films. What’s more, we developed new materials like PU Protective film, UV release protective film, optical protective film, and silicone-free PET protective film, etc.
Such high performance protective films successfully help us establish a good relationship with clients like Samsung, Apple, Sony, Oppo, BYD, Toyota etc.
In 2017, GBS set up new branched factory in Kunshan -- Kunshan Bozhichang New Materials Co.,Ltd, which mainly specializes in insulation materials and EMI shielding materials to serve FPC/FCC connector manufacturing.
In 2018, GBS set up a new factory in Dongguan -- Dongguan Aerchs New materials Co.,Ltd. Here we introduced imported casting equipment and film blowing equipment to develop optical grade self-adhesive PE Film, CPP heat-resistant film, Anti-static protective film etc. We served more industries like Optical electronics, Automotive manufacturing, Construction, Home appliance, etc.
Our workshop upgraded to 100000 class dust-free clean rooms to ensure high cleanliness protective films for our clients.
In 2019, GBS invested a new factory in Zhejiang -- ZheJiang Hi-tech new materials Co.,Ltd. We introduced adhesive coating equipment to manufacture high temperature polyimide tape, PET silicone tape. The plants cover more than 100,00 square meters with advanced equipment like Adhesive coating, Rewinding, Slitting, laminating etc. Our cored research capability of adhesive coating is to satisfy more new industries like Renewable energy, Power battery, Intelligent industry, etc.
In 2020, GBS Science Park was officially completed with its headquarter set up in Jimei, Xiamen. GBS adhere to the business philosophy of "self-reliance, innovation, excellence, and win-win", and continue to promote technological innovation, product innovation, and solution innovation.
